Wizards of the
Coast to Sell the License to Legend of the Five Rings
You can read about the proposed sale in Wizards of the Coast's

AEG is in the running to acquire the license to all things Rokugan.
You can possibly sway WotC's decision in favor of AEG. Fan feedback
may push them in AEG's favor if things are otherwise close.
Send a POLITELY worded letter to Luke
Peterschmidt who is handling the sale at Wizards of the
Coast and let him know that you would really appreciate it if
the L5R intellectual property were to return to its original
home. Thanking them for their willingness to work with AEG in
the past on license issues would not hurt, either. Remember,
be nice and be polite, or you will be doing more harm than good.
Also, let fans of L5R, CW, and the RPG know that the rights
are "in-play". A big fan reaction could win the day.
