This is a combined forces army, designed to work against many styles of foe. Dairya and the V. Dragon are excellent in duels, especially with Sharing Inner Strength. The presence of two tacticians ensures the ability to draw up to three cards each turn. Interestingly, this army can be fielded under any clan's banner by changing the general. In fact, it is cheaper to field for the Crab or Toturi's Army, due to their respective discounts on ratlings and Veteran Ronin Archers.

Against a close combat army, ranged attacks wear down the enemy and the cavalry, ratlings, and Dragon finish them off. With two units having cavalry, it is easier to flank enemy units - especially the Fearful Void Dragon. If the Dragon is able to spend a unit, the close combat troops have an easier time when they engage.
